About the Job
The Payroll Assistant is a temporary 3-month contract and is an integral part of IntouchCX's payroll team and is responsible for receiving, organizing, and auditing all payroll related information delivered from operations and support functions for accuracy and compliance.
As Payroll Assistant, You Will
- Execute payroll information for the assigned programs
- Coordinate with Human Resources and Logistics for the reports delivery related to permanent and agent’s payroll, including incidence, vacations, medical leaves, and payment retention
- Review accuracy between billing vs payroll hours
- Gather and organize the information regarding incidence payroll
- Generate and deliver accounting accruals related to bonuses and vacations
- Document the payrolls and any other important documentation to help and respond to external audits
- Provide prompt response and assistance in regards to payroll inquiries by employees within 24 business hours
- Support payroll delivery by adhering to guidelines and policies
- Provide employees information about government deductions (RAP, IHSS, INFOP, ISR, Cesantia)
- Maintain a high-level of confidentiality in regards to the following: payroll, salaries, and deductions
- Support with any requirements from accounting or finances
Requirements
As Payroll Assistant, You Have
- Bachelor’s or post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years experience in payroll processing
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Customer-focused attitude, with a high-level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse groups of people, both internally and externally
- Superior attention to detail with an eye for accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to complete work in a timely manner
