Job Description

AnswerHero is a live call answering and virtual receptionist company. We are looking for an innovative and resourceful Human Resources Generalist who can embrace challenges to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is a consistent problem-solver who can help drive the overall mission of AnswerHero. You need to be hard-working, intelligent, reliable, computer savvy, have a great work ethic, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a positive, enthusiastic outlook. If you consider yourself a "jack-of-all-trades" this is the position for you!

Position Summary: Provides support to the Operations Manager in areas such as recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring call center staff, monitoring staff performance over time, reviewing employee stats, and applying policies and procedures. Employee communications will be a regular part of the responsibilities of this position. With that said, this is a newly created position within the organization, and as such the specific responsibilities will evolve over time.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills required.
  • Absorb full ownership of the hiring pipeline, from sourcing to final interview
  • Review employee hours, deductions, performance bonuses, and calculate for payroll
  • Implement the disciplinary process, including verbal warning, write ups, and other disciplinary actions needed
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of Honduran labor law
  • Routinely review staff metrics to identify problem areas and areas of opportunity
  • Help develop and maintain a strong corporate culture

Preferred Qualities:

  • Enjoys writing and has strong professional writing skills.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Confident verbal communication skills
  • Experience communicating with team members, customers and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Required Education: degree in Relaciones Industriales or Human Resources, or currently studying for that degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Required Experience: at least 2 years of work experience
  • Positive, enthusiastic outlook about solving problems and improving the business.

Skills:

  • Proficient use of MS Office Products.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking, writing, and reading comprehension
  • Active listening; organization and attention to detail.
  • A problem-solving / solution-oriented nature.
